Dr. Thidi Tshiguvho

Dr. Tshiguvho has been a professor for more than 25 years both in South Africa (University of Venda for Science and Technology) and USA (Worcester State University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute). Thidi has made significant contributions as an environmental scientist including discovering an ant species which was named after her (Nesomyrmex tshiguvhoae). She has administered global-level projects including aids2031, which was a United Nations-commissioned initiative with administrative offices in the USA and Working Groups all over the world including in South Africa. Thidi was also a three-member delegate involved in the founding of the South African Long-Term Ecological Research initiative which stimulated the creation of SAEON (South African Environmental Observation Network). Dr. Tshiguvho brings to this consultancy a combination of project management skills and expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods. As a director she brings extensive experience in strategic decision making and stakeholder engagement. She is also an expert in Indigenous Knowledge Systems.

Khuthalo Mavhunga

Mr. Khuthalo Mavhunga has more than three years experience working in NGO development and management. He has facilitation experience in the areas of Mental Health and Public Education. Having lived in rural and urban settings in South Africa, and having received training in psychology, Khuthalo has a good grasp of psychosocial dimensions of community development. Kuthalo is well-versed in qualitative data collection and analysis methods.

Bernadine Jeranyama

Ms. Bernadine Jeranyama is a marketing and communications professional with over 10 years of experience. Bernadine’s expertise lies in public health, with a strong focus on health equity and community empowerment. She has lived experience in the United States and South Africa, and has worked with refugees from the East African diaspora. Bernadine brings with her marketing and communication skills that are socially conscious and respect various cultures and backgrounds. As an International Development scholar, Bernadine also brings expertise in the area of Gender Equity.
